APRIL 4th, 2012: After a few phone calls and emails between SGC's Andrew Shandro and Lezyne's Marketing Manager, Patrick Ribera-Mckay, the deal was sealed for a 2012 partnership. It was on. SGC, based out of the Whistler Bike Park was founded in 2002 and is the original week long freeride camp. SGC is considered to be one of the most sought after riding camps in the world. Shandro by himself is enough of a statement about the camp and the caliber of people that are involved and the list goes on,…..just check out the coaching roster SGC COACHES. Lezyne will be providing SGC's coaches staff with Lezyne ABS-equipped hand pumps, CO2 Inflators and cartridges, Lever Kits for Tire Repair, Stainless 20 Multi-Tools, and Alloy Dirt Floor Drives. Lezyne will also be providing each camper with a custom SGC Alloy Drive hand pump. In return, Andrew will be providing a new generation of riders with the necessary skills to grow as a mountain bike riders. They will be taught anything and everything related to DH and freeride at the all-time Whistler Mountain Bike Park. We look forward to see what the future generation of riders hold in store for all of us. Lezyne could not be happier to partner with somebody who is giving so much back to the industry and teaching riders to progress and meet their goals.
