HTC-Highroad Finishes On Top

San Luis Obispo – Tony Martin, Judith Arndt and Mark Cavendish's victories in the World Championships last week capped off five years of remarkable athletic success for High Road Sports. Cavendish's win of the Road Race on Sunday marked the 509th win for the team since 2008 and the 119th win this season for the men and women's team combined. Also over the weekend, Highroad riders Matthew Goss and Ina-Yoko Teutenberg earned Silver and Bronze medals in the road race, giving the team a total of five medals at the World Championships.

"These great performances top off an unmatched five years of athletic success" said Team Owner Bob Stapleton. "These results are the product of a remarkable group of people - athletes, managers, staff and expert support. We can all be proud to see our success continue through the entire season."

San Luis Obispo – In addition to HTC-Highroad's phenomenal performance at worlds, Lezyne friends Mitch Ropelato and Jill Kintner had awesome performances at USA Downhill National Championships in Beech Mountain. Jill Kintner (RedBull - Transition Racing) took gold by over 2 seconds and claimed her second national title. Kintner also took gold in Saturday's Dual Slalom competition.

On the Men's side, Mitch Ropelato (SPS North America) has an amazing run on the downhill course and claimed bronze. It was an impressive run considering he finished third just under 4 seconds behind the likes of Logan Binggeli (KHS) and Arron Gwin (Trek World Racing).
