Lezyne Mayhem

Lezyne Mayhem

UK’s largest mountain bike festival 24hr race, Mountain Mayhem, was bigger than ever this weekend. Back for it’s 14th year it’s a tribal gathering of the widest mountain bikers from the beginner to the seasoned pro. Spread over three days in the beautiful setting of the Malvern Hills, Gloustershire, thousands of riders tested themselves against a challenging new course. The most talked about feature of the weekend (as well as the weather) was the new Lezyne Bridge which allowed the course to cross itself in the middle of the main camping area right in the heart of the event. Racers rode over and under the bridge each lap, catching sight of the gallery product pictures and banners. In the main arena the Lezyne display was attracting lots of attention next to the Kinesis bikes and KMP race team pit.

The KMP team were out to have fun this year in a ten person team that included Upgrade’s Paddy Blake and Matt Ryley. Things went all a bit “Mayhem” when Paddy dislocated his finger on his first lap and the team had to race for lap times rather and a position. Fun was had and that’s what Mountain Mayhem is all about.

Lezyne and Kinesis also advertised in the event programme - get it on-line from Singletrack here
