Lezyne Mayhem
UK’s largest mountain bike festival 24hr race, Mountain Mayhem, was bigger than ever this weekend. Back for it’s 14th year it’s a tribal gathering of the widest mountain bikers from the beginner to the seasoned pro. Spread over three days in the beautiful setting of the Malvern Hills, Gloustershire, thousands of riders tested themselves against a challenging new course. The most talked about feature of the weekend (as well as the weather) was the new Lezyne Bridge which allowed the course to cross itself in the middle of the main camping area right in the heart of the event. Racers rode over and under the bridge each lap, catching sight of the gallery product pictures and banners. In the main arena the Lezyne display was attracting lots of attention next to the Kinesis bikes and KMP race team pit.
The KMP team were out to have fun this year in a ten person team that included Upgrade’s Paddy Blake and Matt Ryley. Things went all a bit “Mayhem” when Paddy dislocated his finger on his first lap and the team had to race for lap times rather and a position. Fun was had and that’s what Mountain Mayhem is all about.
Lezyne and Kinesis also advertised in the event programme - get it on-line from Singletrack here

Rolla Riot Prizes
1st Prize
A KinesisUK Decade Convert 2 Frame and Fork worth £375
Surely there hasn't been such a class first prize in the history of Rollapaluza. The “Decade Convert2” is the thinking mans fixed! Totally adaptable with the clever ‘Swopout’ replaceable dropouts - swap from vertical 130mm spacing to horizontal 120mm spacing for a track hub. Totally useable geometry will also take mudguards and rack, a triple and mech or strip it right back and run it fixed. 7005 alloy double butted frame, smooth welds, the geometry is based around our ever popular Racelight T frame with quick handling. Builds up into the perfect all year commuter or winter trainer or track racer and makes a great basis for a stripped down fixie. Even a colour choice: Rich Red or Supergloss Black (pictured).
2nd Prize
A Limited Edition Morvelo Built to Roll Jersey, Morvelo FlexFit Cool&Dry Cap, T-shirts and Socks worth £120+
There have only ever been 30 of these made and we've saved a couple of special ones for those who are truly "Built to Roll". Alongside the technical/fashion crossover that is the Morvélo Cool&Dry Cap and mixed with some of Morvélo's sought after tees and socks, you'd best bring some fresh legs to get a look in for this.
3rd Prize
A selection of rare back issue Morvelo Tees and Cycle Cap worth £70+
If you've been close but not close enough, we have some of Morvélo's legendary back issue tees to give to 3rd spot. From the screamingly loud "Attack the Pack" to the Vans inspired "Old Skool Checker" this selection of tees are nigh on impossible to get hold off. Unless, that is, you come in 3rd at this years Rolla Riot. To help keep the podium lights out of your eyes there will also be a Morvélo Classic White Cycle Cap, as worn by Brian Holm - Directuer Sportif of HTC Highroad, as we all know he's a fan of people with fast legs.

Bringing you the Rolla Riot
Rolla Riot is a new event that Morvelo Bicycle Apparel and Kinesis Bikes UK are putting on in conjunction with Rollapaluza. For too long Brighton, despite it's thriving bike scene, has been denied the pleasure, pain and heckling that is roller racing. Not any more.
With an all night bar, great music and fierce spinning of cranks, it'll be a night to remember and one we hope to put on yearly to see who comes out top in the Battle of Brighton. Giveaways from Morvelo and Kinesis and spot prizes will be in force. So bring your heckle and your best legs down to Brighton for some summer sprints.
When ~ Friday June 10th - 6pm until late
Where ~ Heist Bar, 57 West Street, Brighton
How much ~ £8 is the entry fee for spectators and racers
